  • 2026 School Survey

    Every year we ask all families, teachers, and staff of grades 3-K through 12, and students in grades 6-12 to take the NYC School Survey. The survey gives school leaders a better understanding of what members of their school community think about their school. The information collected by the survey is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make the school a better place to learn. 

    Please note that you will need your child's OSIS number to begin the survey.

    Tuesday, 2/24 through Wednesday, 3/4/26

    Donate your new or gently used children's or teen's books for schools in need!

    Place donations in the boxes at the school entrance, by the gym.

    Please NO:

     - Broken bindings
     - Torn/stained covers
     - Missing pages
     - Out-of-date non-fiction or reference books
     - Library discards
     - Text books
     - Adult books

If you or your student needs help or guidance with technology, student email addresses or accessing grades, please let us know using the MS 54 Technology Help Form. This form may also be used to request a remote learning device (iPad) for student use at home.

NYC Public Schools yellow school busFamilies with students who ride a NYC school bus to and from Booker T: Check out the New York City School Bus App,  available citywide. Families can use the app to see where their student’s bus is on their route with real-time updates, so families can be sure that their child is reaching their destination in a safe and timely manner.  This easy-to-use app is now available on the Apple app store and the Google Play store.
