Back-to-School Night is TONIGHT!
Dear Parents,
We look forward to seeing everyone at Back-to-School Night this evening.
Please note that the evening is for parents only. Unfortunately, we cannot provide childcare.
Sixth Grade Parents:
From 5:30 to 6:00PM, you will have an opportunity to visit and meet all of the music and art teachers in their classrooms. Your children will be studying all four music disciplines during the year, so we wanted to give you a chance to see all of them. In addition, the art classrooms will be open and the art teachers will talk about their curriculum. The teachers' names and room numbers will be on the schedule that you will get when you arrive.
Seventh Grade Parents: Your evening will begin in the gym. from 5:45 to 6:00PM, you will meet and hear from the physical education and health teachers.
Eighth Grade Parents: Your evening will begin at 5:45PM in the auditorium with a grade meeting. We will highlight some important elements of the eighth grade year
HOMEROOM BEGINS FOR ALL GRADES AT 6:00PM.
• Come knowing the following information:
• What is your child’s homeroom number?
• Who is your child’s homeroom teacher?
• What is the room number of the homeroom?
• What language are they taking? If they don’t take a language, who is their reading or math skills teacher?
• What elective (band, strings, chorus, piano, art with Mr. Macaluso, or art with Mr. Stabiner) do they take?
The answers to these questions will save you time and confusion.
