    Come to the 3rd annual District 3 State of our District 3 Schools address by Superintendent Dr. Reginald Higgins.

    The event will be held at P.S. 163 The Alfred E. Smith School, 163 West 97th Street, from 5:00 - 7:30 pm

    Each year from September 15 to October 15, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. During Hispanic Heritage Month, we honor the countless contributions that Hispanic Americans have made to our nation, and especially to New York City, over the years. We also take this time to recognize the trailblazing individuals who fought for progress and equity for their communities. Check out these resources and events.

  • Set Up Your NYC Schools Account

    ​Did you know that you can track your child’s education on any computer, phone, or tablet?
     
    You can sign up for an account by entering a few basic details. This will allow you to begin receiving notifications from the DOE. It only takes five minutes, and it is the first step in getting a full account.

    NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) is a DOE online service that lets you access important information about your child on any device. The website is accessible in nine languages.

    The NYC Schools Account allows you to view your child’s grades, report cards, attendance history, test scores, transportation information, IEP information, track your child’s progress to graduation, and more to come!  Step-by-step instructions are provided at the link below.

    Sign up for your NYC Schools Account today!

    The new NYCSA Mobile application will be available for parents and guardians during the Fall term of the new school year 2023-24. Parents who wish to use the app must first create a NYCSA account on a desktop or laptop computer. The NYCSA mobile app does not provide all the features of the desktop app. It will be available soon on Google Play or the Apple App Store at no cost!

    Parents who wish to use the app must first create a NYCSA account on a desktop or laptop computer. The NYCSA mobile app does not provide all the features of the desktop app.

SCHOOL CALENDAR

The school day begins at 8:40 am.
Students arriving after homeroom will be marked late.

 Booker T. Academy is from 8:00 am - 8:40 am and from 3:00 pm - 3:40 pm on Tues-Weds-Thurs. Teachers will provide their individual BT Academy schedules.

If you or your student needs help or guidance with technology, student email addresses or accessing grades, please let us know using the MS 54 Technology Help Form. This form may also be used to request a remote learning device (iPad) for student use at home.

NYC Public Schools yellow school busFamilies with students who ride a NYC school bus to and from Booker T: Check out the New York City School Bus App,  available citywide. Families can use the app to see where their student’s bus is on their route with real-time updates, so families can be sure that their child is reaching their destination in a safe and timely manner.  This easy-to-use app is now available on the Apple app store and the Google Play store.
