BACK-TO-SCHOOL INFORMATION
- Homeroom assignments will be e-mailed to families during the first full week of September, 2023.
- Class schedules will be provided to students on the first day of school.
- Details for this coming school year, including safety protocols, school day info, arrival/dismissal, etc., are forthcoming.

Topic: How to Support Your Middle Schooler - Both sessions are in person and for parents only.
If your sixth graders are traveling with you that morning, they can wait in the courtyard, which will be supervised from 8-8:40. A grab-and-go breakfast will also be available for the students.

STUDENT ORIENTATIONS
All grades will have their orientations in-person, during the first week of school. Topics will include organization and time management skills, ice breakers and group activities. Students will also be given a building orientation to aid in navigating among the hallways and rooms.
A Safety Assembly will be held on [TBD] at 8 am.
This is mandatory for 6th graders. Parents are welcome.
7th and 8th graders are also welcome, if they need a refresher.

PARENT/GUARDIAN HOMEWORK
- CHECK YOUR EMAIL for a message from Booker T. Washington via Jupiter <notify@jupitered.com>. This email provides a unique link to a form to allow you to fill in your family's information. You will be asked to:
- Add/edit your contact information.
- Add another parent/guardian, if applicable, to your child's account (Note that we currently have only one parent contact from MySchools).
- Sign up for grade alerts.
- Opt in to receiving emergency text messages from school
- Opt in to sharing your contact information with the PTA and/or school directory.
- If you did not receive this email, please contact the Student Coordinator.
- School forms, including the "blue" emergency contact, Ryan Health and permission forms, will be provided to families during the first week of school. These must be returned to the school via your student as soon as possible.
