Free Microsoft Software

The DOE provides free Microsoft Office 365 Education software to students and families. Much of this software has education-specific content that supports our students’ academic improvement. In addition, familiarity with these tools will help prepare students for college and careers. 

• Students can go to the Microsoft Website, sign in with their DOE credentials, and click on the Install Office button to install the software.
  • Students who need help logging in should go to the NYCPS Accounts page for assistance with their account and password.
  • Students will be able to download Microsoft software on up to five family computers and five family tablets, smartphones, and other mobile devices.
